Similar to our M4 profile Dissipator Barrel, this offers our Heavy Profile turning. Rifle length sighting improves accuracy while retaining a carbine length barrel’s ease of handling. A low profile gas block functions in the carbine position and a full A2 front sight base is positioned at rifle length with a triangular handguard cap, sling swivel, front sight post, front sight detent, and bayonet lug included. It also includes the Barrel Extension with M4 Feed Ramps. This premium barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E Steel, Chrome Lined in both Bore and Chamber for long wear and ease of cleaning and Black Manganese Phosphate finished for protection against rust and corrosion. Button rifling (1 turn in 9 inches – right hand twist) offers optimum accuracy with a wide range of .223 / 5.56mm ammunition. The muzzle is threaded 1/2” x 28 T.P.I. to accept a variety of flash hiders or muzzle brakes.
