This 16” “Heavy” profile Barrel includes the Windham Weaponry Picatinny Rail Gas Block (mounted to barrel using taper pins). That Gas Block allows you to attach a wide variety of add-on Front Sights to suit your specific needs.This barrel – perfect for replacing an old, worn or inaccurate one – has a Heavy Profile under the handguard area, and is turned straight from the Gas Block forward to the threaded muzzle. It is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E Steel with a Chrome Lining for long wear and easy cleaning, is button rifled 1 Turn in 9” – Right Hand Twist for optimum accuracy with a wide range of .223 / 5.56mm ammunition, and finished in Black Manganese Phosphate for protection against rust and corrosion. This Barrel Sub Assembly includes Barrel (with M4 Feed Ramps), Picatinny Rail Gas Block, Sling Swivel and Rivet, Barrel Nut, Handguard Cap and Threaded Muzzle (1/2” x 28 tpi).
