Description
This superbly accurate VEX Barrel is ready for your custom rifle project. This Barrel offers a threaded muzzle so that muzzle brakes or sound suppressors can be fitted. Precision machined from 416R Stainless Steel, it includes a matched bolt machined from Carpenter 158 or 9310 Steel which has been magnetic particle and high pressure tested. It is machined to mate with the Compass Lake specification Chamber for highest possible accuracy. The barrel is matte finished to avoid varmint spooking glare, and is fluted to reduce weight, increase barrel surface and add rigidity. The low profile Gas Block is lightweight, strong and small enough to use with almost any handguard. Button rifling is 1 turn in 8 inches – right hand twist for optimum accuracy with a wide range of heavier .223 / 5.56mm varmint bullets.
